Due to consistently negative feedback about some features of CK3, I have decided to retcon the release as a public beta and release a full version in the following days.

The full release will have:

A ton of new art.
Adjustable autosave function that will save the game at 1 to 20 minute intervals.
Quest Log which tells you where the imps are and how many you missed in the lowtown/midtown quests.
Guaranteed drop rate on quest related items
Bugfixes for every reproducible glitch that people encountered in CK3
Interactivity in fullscreen mode

As a solo dev, I'm still pretty new at game making.

Please be patient with me.

Will save from public beta be compatible with full release and/or with chapter 4.
If not i will still gladly play chapter 3 but if yes i will just check it out since i was satisfied already :3

Planning on doing animations for triplets, and flame zealot, and maybe citizen. And perhaps a touch more static art

Is there going to be a way to get the other girls in a later chapter? I know that there's multiple endings for this chapter but going forward it would be disappointing if you never meet the others. Great chapter and great game overall. Thanks for your hard work.

Yep. I have a plan for setting you up with the others, but it takes some time. After CK5, if you went the Nefris route, you get your pick between badluck girls. If you went the badluck route, you get Nefris after CK5. Then way later, at the end of the volcano arc, you'll get whichever badluck girl is still missing.

Tbh only issue was the saving. But glad you're doing ur best to improve your game ^^ don't take all negative comments to heart make sure you only take from the constructive ones :D

I will always support the project here even if I can't support you on Patreon. You've got a good thing. Just take your time and do what YOU want to do with the game. When Devs have free reign to make what is in their heart, they make good stuff. Keep up the good work.

Thanks! I'm trying to find a balance between what I want for the game and what people playing want. For example, people were OK with the Nefris fight being much more difficult than the other 2, but they were less OK with the fact that you could only get 1 of the three endings per save file. As a solo dev, I have a lot to learn about what things to do and what to avoid when it comes to game design... but it is a learning experience.

Thankfully I can vent on Discord. Otherwise it'd be tough. Since I'm a solo developer, I probably spent more than 800 hours alone on this chapter. So when someone is like "terrible game design 1 star"... it makes me want to punch a hole in my TV screen.

You're releasing an awesome game for free on your own time; there are bound to be bugs and such here and there, those are inevitable. You're doing a fantastic job and I'm sure you'll continue doing a fantastic job!

Honestly this is already miles better than most other projects out there, especially stuff that is expected to be bought. I am really suprised it is still ongoing, and appreciative. While, like everything, it isn't without flaw; no reason to take negativity, that is only being negative for the sake of it. You are smart and can see the most imediate things to improve on, and are already working towards that end. No need to overwork and overstress yourself to try and satisfy everyone, there will always be someone complaining. Yet you stay sensible and are responding appropriately to criticism. Which is more than alot of people can say. I really hope you continue to recieve more good than bad and can hold your head high. Thank you.

Im not going to complain if you say it will have new art :D I think that a lot of people this days want everything to be smooth and easy, games included. Besides that it´s a really good thing that you take in count the critics and how you said you can´t please everyone and yet you are trying your best. Absolutely fantastic job, so stoked about this project. As much as the small things you listed occurred to me while playing through (save/progression seems a little wonky, wanted animated endings for all enemies etc), those are like professional level/big title style complaints, and the fact that you're addressing them anyways shows what a crazy high standard of quality you're running at. Such a good game, so well done even for a regular developer let alone a solo first timer. Keep up the stellar work.

PS big vote for citizen animation if possible, love her character design!

Hey, for what it's worth, you will always have haters, regardless of how great you are, but the more they hate on you, the more you are a great star and they are trying to just drag you down, so shine bright mate.
