You've set out the rules of the game, with this element counters that element and so on, and trained the player over the first games that that's what the rules are. And then you drop a mercury elemental on us that regenerates HP, and if you look at the elements and use stuff she's weak to the game actively punishes you.
Stop it! We're not here to play "guess what bullshit problem solution Mr Introspurt thought of", we're here to jack off! To say nothing of the fact that if you didn't grind for cheesecakes three games ago you're utterly fucked.
Look, props to you for abandoning the skill points and switching to the tactics system. That's good, modern game design to let the player re-spec. But, look, really dude, if you want to make your game designer magnum opus then this isn't the forum for it. Besides which, the puzzle you're asking the player to solve isn't fun. I'm not playing this game for the thrill of overcoming the challenge, I'm playing it to whack it to hot babes having sex. And I'll bet my fucking house that that's how most players feel, too.
